"When I started training with Nick I was obese and unhappy. I was so self conscious of the way I looked and had no confidence in myself. When I met Nick he told me that if I listen to him and I give it everything I got that I will have the body I always wanted. He dedicated so much time into me physically and mentally. He built my confidence and made me prove to myself that I can do it. Even when I was frustrated and upset he made sure I never gave up. He gave me the tools and resources I needed to change my life and I'm so thankful for that. He didn't just pay attention to me during my hours of training, but he was there if I ever had any questions or concerns. I was even annoying enough to send him pictures of all my meals just to make sure I was doing everything I could to get the results I wanted.

Don't get me wrong. Training with Nick was Incredibly hard and took an incredible amount of dedication, but it was worth it. I finally got the results I wanted: I went from 223 lbs. and 49% body fat down to 147 lbs. and 15.8% body fat! I can honestly say that without Nick by my side I would not have achieved these incredible results! He truly changed my life."

"When I came to Nick I was over 300lbs. I tried doing all the other diet fads like Slimfast, The South Beach Diet, etc, but nothing really helped. I didn't even like going out with friends anymore because I was so self conscious about how I looked; however after just one month with Nick I lost almost 40lbs. I couldn't believe it!

Nick helped me so much and everyone at the gym was so positive and encouraging. They became an instant family and offered support.

Now it took a lot of hard work, discipline, and daily food logs to Nick, but it was worth it. After my first year I lost 139lbs!

"I have trained under Nick's guidance and improved my physical condition significantly over a 3 month period, meeting for two to three hours a week. At the end of my training Nick had me doing various exercise techniques which I would never have thought I could do.That was when I was age 65.

Since then I have continued with my gym program  and continue to enjoy a good physical fit and maintain a healthy body chemistry (age 70 on May 8th). My cardiac specialist and primary care physician  both are impressed with my heart condition and all lab test readings (Cholesterol, blood sugar, triglycerides, and liver function). I attribute all this to my 'healthy lifestyle habits' including regular  workout routines.

"I started working with Nick 4 years ago and he changed my life. Before I met Nick I was dieting and doing cardio trying to lose weight, with minimal results. I was scared that lifting weights would make me look manly and bulky so I never dared.

I met Nick and he assured me that weights would not do that, so I started attending his weight lifting and cardio classes. The weight just melted off of me. He provided me with nutritional information on what foods I needed to eat, how much, at what times and why.

Nick provides an amazing atmosphere to work out in, he changes the routines often and always keeps things fun yet challenging. His classes are very motivational as there are other like minded individuals trying to get into shape and we all love to help push each other. I have gained so much strength and I continue to grow stronger.

I am a 30 year old single mother, I work full time and I go to school, but even on top of all of that Nick has given me the tools I needed to get in the best shape of my life. I couldn't have gotten this far without him."

"3 years ago I was looking for an opportunity to get in shape. My inside sensor was sounding off and it was time to shed some pounds. At that time I was working out at home a few days a week, but still eating fast food and just caught in a vicious cycle. It was time to make some changes! I walked into Nick's class and he gave me his contact info and I called the next day. I met him at class, he sat down with me one on one and I told him my goals - he created a nutrition/training program and I started that night. My life changed forever - and soon later... I was addicted to the results!!!

I'm 43 years old, a mother, wife, with many outside obligations, and I work full time approx. 50 hours a week. It didn't matter how busy my life was, I knew I needed to find time for myself and my health. So I dedicated myself to fitness.

Off the top I lost 20 lbs. and developed endurance and strength beyond my imagination - I soon surpassed my original goal. :)

Today, I'm still going strong! On average, I work out 3 days a week, doing both cardio and weight training. I've never felt happier, stronger, or [more] confident in my own body. I'm forever grateful for Nick's knowledge, creative workout plans, patience and encouragement."

"As I approached my 30's, I had become less active, never made time for exercise and ate very unhealthy. I now have  two children in my life which gave me even less time to make (or I thought so) healthy food, so I would grab whatever was convenient and quick on the way home from work. It showed as I had packed on the pounds over the last few years. I would try to exercise and 'diet' on my old habits.

I heard about Nick through some old friends a couple of years ago. I looked at his client's progression pics and could see he was the 'real deal.' I met with him and discussed my goals of losing weight, being fit and healthy. I joined his class and within 5 months I had lost forty pounds! He taught me how to eat properly balanced meals, and how to get the best results through my workout.

Even though I had a setback with a back injury I obtained through 15 years of manual labor, I am still able to do the workouts. If something is too irritating to my injury, Nick will modify my routine to still target the necessary muscle groups with no risk of compounding my injury.

Through Nick I found a love for exercise. I love seeing the results I get and look forward to meeting my goals and creating new ones!"

"Since working out with Nick I feel more confident in how I look. When I went to him I never thought that I was big, but seeing how many inches came off and saw my before and after pictures I must say he made me a believer. I look and feel better about myself he works with you and he does his best to get you were you want to be.

I'm a 37 year old single mom and I never thought I could find the time for myself to workout. It got to a point were I was not happy with my body and knew I had to do something about it. I tried working out by myself, but the motivation was not there. I knew I needed help and luckily I knew someone that recommended me to Nick. 3 years later and I'm in the best shape I've ever been in.

I feel a lot stronger, happier and even when I feel I can't do it he proves to me I can.

"I started with Nick April of 2010. I just didn't feel good, although I was only 20lbs. over weight, I had 30% body fat. I just didn't feel right in my clothes. I started working out with Nick and didn't really think about what I was eating. At the end of the month, I had lost about 2lbs. and had gone down about 2% in body fat. Nick said, 'Do you see what you could do if if you were careful about what you ate?' From that moment, I decided to work out, eat healthy, and count my calories.

By the next month, I had lost at least 3 more lbs. and another percent in body fat. I continued working out with Nick for a year and a half. I was able to reach 18% body fat.

I had always been a little overweight throughout my life. I had also been working out in one way or another since the age of sixteen. I had even worked with a personal trainer before and didn't see a change in my body. Nick is the only trainer who got me to change my diet significantly and he is the only trainer that actually pushed me. He never let me slack and as a result I have been the thinnest/healthiest/strongest that I have ever been. The only reason that I do not workout with Nick anymore is because I moved to the Northbay. Nick is the best trainer."

"Nick is an excellent trainer. He's knowledgeable, enthusiastic and supportive. I worked with him for 6 months. He helped me realize that my cardio routine was missing something... strength training! Yes, cardio is important, but strength training is just as important. I loved the challenging workouts that he put together because the kept me motivated.

I was able to push past my boundaries and see that I was a lot stronger than I thought.

Another key factor that helped in reaching my goals was the food. He put together a food plan that set the path for healthier eating habits. I'm very happy with what I was able to accomplish in the short time I trained with Nick.

"When I first started training with Nick, I can honestly say that that was the first time I had ever stepped foot into a gym environment. He was able to put up with all my complaining, my “I cants”, and my strong negotiating skills (with a smile on his face) and turn me into the gym rat that I am today.

I truly felt like he believed in my abilities, and with that feeling of reassurance I gained, he was able to create such a comforting environment in a place that I felt very uncomfortable. I have known Nick for some time now (about 5 years!) and I can honestly say that Nick is one of the best personal trainers I have ever had the privilege to train with.
